According to Wiki Cloud computing is internet-based computing, whereby shared resources, software, and information are provided to computers and other devices on demand.
  
Most popular platforms like YouTube, VimeoFlickr, Slideshare and Skype are included in list of applications of cloud computing. Platforms that hold your data like images, videos, presentations, your documents and many more and after it you are free from all worries.
We can access applications and our data’s from anywhere at any time. We can also access the any cloud computing system using any computer which is inked to the internet.

Gmail

Gmail is becoming more and more widespread throughout the small business and one of the most popular applications of cloud computing. Gmail has increased spam protection for its users, it organises incoming emails from each sender into more of a conversation. Gmail also includes a live chat facility so that you can connect with other Gmail users in real time world.

Google Calendar

It is the best way to make appointments for clients to meet you. When they make my appointments, they also attach Foursquare details of the meeting point, they can upload images, files and other text including meeting participants’ mobile numbers in case someone gets lost – and best of all – they can share it all among themselves as well as with me.

Google Groups

Google Groups is a service which based on common interests that supports discussion groups. Membership in Google Groups is free of charge and many groups are anonymous. Users can find and choose discussion groups related to their interests and take part in conversations of particular group on any topic related to group. User can create its own group as a new group and invite people.

Google Docs  

Google Docs is best applications of cloud computing. It is free, spreadsheet, web-based word processor, form, presentation, and data storage on web which is offered by Google. Docs allow users to documents creation and edition online. Data storage of any files up to 1GB each in size.

Google sites 

Google site is a structure which is offered by Google for creation of web pages as part of Google Apps. it started out as Jotspot and it was targeted mainly at small-sized and medium-sized businesses where no of employees are less.  

Dropbox

Dropbox is a web-based file hosting service. Provides you free space for your all important data’s and files. Drop box uses cloud computing to enable users to store files and share files among the people. Two type services are available free and paid services, each with varying options and features

 A folder is created in our machine (computer, laptop) when we make our account in dropbox.If you want to store your pic, just start the net connection and copy and paste pic in dropbox folder for this procedure no need to open dropbox website.

Basecamp

Basecamp is launched in 2004. It is a web-based project management tool. Primary features of Basrcamp are to-do lists, milestone management, file sharing, time tracking, forum-like messaging etc.  New features are included in advanced versions.

Backpack

It is a web-based personal info manager and work as intranet for small business. Backpack application basically contain two main functions, first is user-created pages.

 A user created page has power to include text, images and files. Second is an iCalendar format calendar. Features of the user-created pages include to-do lists, notes/file attachments, page sharing, photo galleries etc.

Campfire

We all are Facebook users and addicted of chatting, but some time chatting is very useful for our business. It is a business-oriented online chat service. The application based on Ajax technology and use real time communication. 

If you are ready to use this application first of all you must have to create new chat room and send invitations to your business partners. Unless a chat room is specifically chosen to be “off the record”, uploaded files are stored and brows able transcripts of chats for future reference.

If you are interested in online accounting software so Xero applications of cloud computing is best for you. It is an online accounting software product for as well as personal finance, small and medium-sized businesses.

Carbonite is nothing but an online backup service. This service is available for both Mac and Windows users. Carbonite Provides unlimited backup space to consumers/user and small businesses. It is named after carbonite, the fictional substance used to freeze Han Solo in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
