What is LTE Network

LTE Network is broadly known as wireless broadband. It is introduced to entertain the benefit of having phone calls and internet service with the same quality. The characteristic of this LTE network is that it has transformed the voice data into data frames to transmit this piece of information in the same way as other types of data are sent. It has merged the two services into one type removing the traditional phone service mechanism. This alliance of phone and internet utilities brings an enhanced experience to users. LTE is more advantageous to have one connection instead of different connections for different services.


LTE network is referred to 4G network. This parallelism is due to higher speed offered by it. This is known as wireless broadband and is an efficient competitor of wired broadband. The speed is the initial demand of 4G network set by ITU communication standard. LTE continuously upgrading its speed as the ration between past and present speed is drastic as 5 - 2 : 100 - 300 Mbps.

Another improved characteristic of LTE network is the capacity much more than all the previous networks. This can takes large amount of data to transmit from one location to another in no time. Today Smartphone, iPOD, iPAD and their latest versions are capable of sending and receiving large data.


Latency is one more issue in previous technologies which hiders the users from playing games and video conferencing. LTE network offers less latency and enhanced the experience of gaming and video conferencing. Now graphics are uploaded quickly so is the case with games. It becomes a virtual entertainment to play games online. LTE Is a compact technology that can reside more users in one band yet no effect on speed. It reduces the impact of any kind of interference from other networks and access signals in remote areas.   


All the generations have one basic characteristic that they are wireless and offering phone service and data on the same network. These networks however are made up of different technologies. These technologies are separated by giving them names of different generations. The first generation is analog while second revolutionized into digital. However 3G is the improved version of 2nd generation and all the technologies are upgraded only. 4G marks a new era in wireless network as it introduces LTE and WiMAX technologies that are accelerated and higher data carriers. In some brands these technologies are not attaining the level of speed recommended by ITU and grouped into 3.9 G.

LTE is expected to incorporate into many new advanced versions of iPAD, iPODs, and Smartphone. This will surely boost the sale price of these devices as they are coming up with the most demanding features.


Remote areas are suggestively covered by this wireless LTE network to make possible for those people to be connected with outer world and have the access to internet. It is also observed that wired broadband is nearly impossibly or its installation is more of a fatigue than its usage. There LTE network offers a wireless communication to make possible for the people having personal and commercial access to internet.


A major difference between previous generations and LTE (4G) technology is that it is all about data transmission. Rest generations were only improvement and modifications of the older versions but LTE makes the data it point of consideration. The concept of Voice over Internet (VoIP) has changes the circuit nature of voice into data frames. LTE finishes the idea of separating the services in their individual form and transform them into data and makes packets of this information. Now everything is of same nature and same quality. The model is improved and efficient having dynamic speed to send data, voice and SMS.
