Google Now comes to iPhone and iPad

Google is bringing its new Google Now technology to the iPhone and iPad, by using this technology user can get everything from weather updates to traffic alerts. It will share news updates of the topics that you’re following and for people who travel via air it can remind to leave for airport so that you can make for flight and much more.

Nowadays most of us rely on the smartphones and use them for every work, like keeping reminders of appointments, searching hotels and restaurant and to get driving directions and many more. And now with the launch of this Google Now for iPhone and iPad have become even smarter.

Google Now for iPhone and iPad is available as part of the updated Google Search app. Also, some analysts believe that Apple’s Siri that comes pre-loaded on iPhones and iPads could be a threat for the Google.

The Google app will access to various online services throughout the day and displays the relevant information in the pop-up windows, Google calls it as “cards.”

Google Now is the next phase in the evolution of search, in which answers are served up without a user needing to type in a query, said by Johanna Wright, google’s vice president of Search and Assist for Mobile.

This Google Search app will give the instant results to all your queries, you just need to tap the microphone and speak after you finished the answers will spoken back to you very quickly. For example, ask “Show me nearby pizza places” and instantly you will get a map of restaurants nearby you with directions, ratings, contact numbers and hours.

The Apple’s iOS will display these cards only when the Google Search app is opened. But in Android the users can quickly access to the cards by swiping the homescreen.

Get the Google Search app with Google Now from the App Store, once you installed the app, open it, sign in to your Google account and get started to explore this awesome app.
