5G Network
With the development of our technology, mobile network is developing. There was a time when 2G network meant to be a lot achievement for us. Every one was pleased with the speed of 2G network. Then gradually 3G came, then 4G. That time everyone was satisfied too. But with the development of technology, some problems has been created in the way of 3G and 4G. So, we are hoping that 5G network system will start with in 2018-2020. Meanwhile which 5G network is coming, it will be different then 2G, 3G, 4G and it's work will be different too. It's application are fabulous also. The frequency band of 5G Network will be of higher frequency. Generally you have heard about 700 mAh, 800 mAh, 1800 mAh, 1900 mAh, 2300 mAh, 2600 mAh e.t.c. for 2G, 3G or 4G. Here we are telling about 1 Gigahertz or 2 Gigahertz. But in the matter of 5G, it starts from 28 Gigahertz. And past of it is up to 37 Gigahertz, 39 gigahertz, 42 Gigahertz or 60 Gigahertz. Here the frequency range is called millimeter wave. If you increase the frequency, then the wave length will be of less millimeter. Basically the range is 10 mm - 1 mm. This millimeter technology will be used in 5G. Now we will talk about the advantage and disadvantage of this tech.
Advantages & Disadvantages
At first, when you will increase the frequency, you'll face an advantage and disadvantage. Advantage is, for increasing frequency you can send many data in a time very fastly and your connection will be very fast. Disadvantage is, the connection range won't be long. Cause when the frequency kept increasing, the signal downs and the signal losses frequently. Presently it is the problem of 5G. When you use 28 Gigahertz, it rains or the velocity of the wind increases, signal kept losing. As a result the signal will be weak and you may not get a proper coverage. Normally when we use dish tv/set top box, the antena works in 12 Gigahertz. There the signal losses also.
How can we overcome
To overcome this we can use various techniques in 5G. There will be millimeter wave in 5G. The size of antena will be very small. So, for smart phone we can use multiple antena. At this the signal strength will increase. Moreover, As wall phone towers. which big towers we use, here we can use small tower in every building and you can get strong network easily at home. Also, by using beamforming between two towers; the signal you are sending you can send that with a particular energy in a particular direction. Then you can avoid more loss. So, this was the throwback, by using which technique we can comeback.
But still there is no standard has come. The standard in 4G was LTE, in 3G Evideo/UMTS/3GPP. But standard in 5G has't come. After coming of standard, those who are manufacturers they will build separate equipment. Then we can see 5G network. But qualcomm has announced there 5G modem few months ago named X50. They also said that, it's speed is upto 5gbps.
Implement
The 5G application of this is endless. You can implement 5G anywhere and you can do more better something. If you have 5G, the speed while streaming 4k, 3D video will be very fasy. For it's less response time and speed we can do remote surgery. Like- If the doctor is at distance he can do patients surgery from there through 5G network. Moreover, the doctor can deserve patients condition through live steaming. Smart traffic and self driving car will be easy also. By this traffic can be controlled. In a factory, who are components can communicate among themselves easily. If any problem occurs, they will solved that easily. Above all we can use 5G network in many different ways.
