Nowadays Computers are the most important thing of the modern society.  The use of internet has become so convenient and common; some peoples neglect and forget the importance of protecting our computers and files. So it is important to protect your computer and data from Hacking. Now, big companies also fears from Hackers.  So In this article I have posted on how to protect your computer from Hackers and viruses.
 
Just follow the below instructions:
1. Install Anti-virus software:
First thing is that you must install best antivirus software in your pc and keep it up to date.
2. Up to date Operating system:
Keep your Operating system up to date with latest patches.
3. Install Anti-Spyware Software:
Use Anti-Spyware it protect from spyware, malware and Trojan horses.
Download anti spyware from here
4. Install Firewall Software:
Install a personal Firewall and keep it up to date. In internet world there are many free firewalls.
5. Scan Computer weekly:
Scan your computer Hard Disk weekly so that it will make better performance of computer.
6. Don't open Spam E-mail:
Don't open unknown E-mail or spam mail.
7. Use strong password:
Use strong password and don’t use your birth date, nickname or mobile number. Try to use alphabets, numbers and special symbols in your password.
8. Secure your Wi-Fi:
Secure your Wi-Fi connection with strong password
9. Don't Use Cybercafé for Net banking:
If you using Net banking then you must always use only from your computer and never use cybercafé.
10. Don't Use Dictionary word in password:
Try to avoid using Dictionary word in password.
If you follow the above instructions, your computer will be safe from Hackers.

What is Flex?

Adobe Flex is an open source framework that allows developers to create slick looking web applications for browsers, mobiles and desktops across multiple platforms.

Adobe Flex is an open source framework that allows developers to create slick looking web applications for browsers, mobiles and desktops across multiple platforms.
Flex brings together MXML an XML based structure to create the UI or visual part of the application and ActionScript to provide the functionality, animations and interactivity. It is an object based framework that offers a great deal of flexibility with many excellent built in methods and libraries.

What is flex used for?

Flex Web Applications

Adobe Flex’s diverse framework provides a great environment to produce powerful and feature rich web applications. In comparison to creating a HTML web application, Flex’s MXML would be the HTML and the ActionScript would be the JavaScript, with the combination it is possible to  create web applications with superb user experience and functionality. PHP and other popular server side languages can be used to provide database interactivity that bring the application to life.

Flex Adobe Air Applications

Adobe Air allows you to make Flex applications for the desktop environment, the same code is used as with the web applications meaning that a web application is easily ported to the desktop environment. Adobe Air is essentially a Flash wrapper, meaning that it will behave the same on any operating system a huge benefit for Adobe Air over other development frameworks.
Because of this it is incredibly easy to make cross OS and platform applications that can be used on almost all Mobile Devices, Tablets, PC Operating Systems and web servers.

An Agile project's success also depends a lot on the Agile Project Manager.  The decisions he takes and the emphasis he provides on certain areas will pave the way for a successful Agile Project.  In this post, I provide some key points that an Agile Project Manager should focus on, for the betterment of an Agile Project

  • Employee hiring
    • First and foremost, an Agile Project Manager needs to hire the right people for the project.  Apart from the technical skills and non-technical skills required of Agile teams, it is imperative that the chosen candidates adopt to the Agile practices and are themselves Agile.
  • Technical and Non-technical grooming
    • Once into the project, the candidates needs to be groomed to meet the project needs and also grow further.
  • Employee motivation
    • I always believed that Employee motivation is one of the Critical Success Factor of an Agile Project, for that matter any project.  Motivated employees can do wonders if provided with the right environment.  Motivated employees go that extra mile to achieve the common goals.  Hence an Agile Project Manager needs to put high emphasis on this point.
  • Engineering Practices
    • There are a lot of engineering practices that make an Agile project successful.  An Agile Project Manager should focus on putting the right Engineering Practices to place. He/She should not forget that there is an overhead in following certain practices, but once fully functional, they start to provide high returns on the investment.  For ex. following Automated Unit tests and TDD can be very difficult to start with, but over time, developers get into that practice and the results start to follow.  
  • Be open for feedback
    • An Agile Project Manager needs to be open for feedback from the team, as they might contain vital clues to what is going wrong or what can be made better.
  • Team empowerment
    • An Agile Project Manager should empower his team to a great extent so that everyone feels that they own a piece of the entire show.
  • Retrospection
    • An Agile Project Manager should focus on the retrospection meetings and provide active inputs, listen to others inputs and provide suggestions for improving anything that bothers the velocity of the team.
  • Team morale
    • This is very important.  A team with high morale can achieve significantly higher output than a team with lower morale.  Morale is contagious and an Agile Project Manager should always focus on keeping the Team morale high at all times.  
  • Continuous Process Improvement
    • This is to look at the current process from a neutral perspective and suggest improvements and empower the team to suggest and implement improvements. An Agile Project Manager will continuously monitor the processes followed and improve the processes.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • An Agile Project Manager should be good in stakeholder management.  Stakeholders might include Customers, Upper Management and his/her job is to make the stakeholders understand the realistic expectations of an Agile Project and then shield the team from the external pressures of the management and allow the team to focus on the most important stuff of building the product/application.
  • Continuous Learning & Knowledge Sharing
    • An Agile Project Manager should provide a mechanism for continuous learning and have a good forum wherein continuously knowledge gets shared among the different team members.

Even though Agile is the buzzword in the market for quite a long time, not every manager is good at managing/guiding a good Agile Project.  But as I pointed out, if focus is put on the mentioned points, I believe that will pave the way for a good Agile Project.

what is DMARC ?

DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance)

Email authentication technologies SPF and DKIM were developed over a decade ago in order to provide greater assurance on the identity of the sender of a message. Adoption of these technologies has steadily increased but the problem of fraudulent and deceptive emails has not abated. It would seem that if senders used these technologies, then email receivers would easily be able to differentiate the fraudulent messages from the ones that properly authenticated to the domain. Unfortunately, it has not worked out that way for a number of reasons.
  • Many senders have a complex email environment with many systems sending email, often including 3rd party service providers. Ensuring that every message can be authenticated using SPF or DKIM is a complex task, particularly given that these environments are in a perpetual state of flux.
  • If a domain owner sends a mix of messages, some of which can be authenticated and others that can't, then email receivers are forced to discern between the legitimate messages that don't authenticate and the fraudulent messages that also don't authenticate. By nature, spam algorithms are error prone and need to constantly evolve to respond to the changing tactics of spammers. The result is that some fraudulent messages will inevitably make their way to the end user's inbox.
  • Senders get very poor feedback on their mail authentication deployments. Unless messages bounce back to the sender, there is no way to determine how many legitimate messages are being sent that can't be authenticated or even the scope of the fraudulent emails that are spoofing the sender's domain. This makes troubleshooting mail authentication issues very hard, particularly in complex mail environments.
  • Even if a sender has buttoned down their mail authentication infrastructure and all of their legitimate messages can be authenticated, email receivers are wary to reject unauthenticated messages because they cannot be sure that there is not some stream of legitimate messages that are going unsigned.
The only way these problems can be addressed is when senders and receivers share information with each other. Receivers supply senders with information about their mail authentication infrastructure while senders tell receivers what to do when a message is received that does not authenticate.
In 2007, PayPal pioneered this approach and worked out a system with Yahoo! Mail and later Gmail to collaborate in this fashion. The results were extremely effective, leading to a significant decrease in suspected fraudulent email purported to be from PayPal being accepted by these receivers.
The goal of DMARC is to build on this system of senders and receivers collaborating to improve mail authentication practices of senders and enable receivers to reject unauthenticated messages.

DMARC and the Email Authentication Process

DMARC is designed to fit into an organization's existing inbound email authentication process. The way it works is to help email receives determine if the purported message "aligns" with what the receiver knows about the sender. If not, DMARC includes guidance on how to handle the "non-aligned" messages. For example, assuming that a receiver deploys SPF and DKIM, plus its own spam filters, the flow may look something like this:
In the above example, testing for alignment according to DMARC is applied at the same point where ADSP would be applied in the flow. All other tests remain unaffected.
Useful Terminology
Aligned / Non-Aligned Identifiers
DMARC doesn't directly address whether or not an email is spam or otherwise fraudulent. Instead, messages are considered "aligned" if the received message conforms to the fraud detection configuration (e.g. DKIM, SPF, etc), and "non-aligned" if it doesn't.
At a high level, DMARC is designed to satisfy the following requirements:
  • Minimize false positives.
  • Provide robust authentication reporting.
  • Assert sender policy at receivers.
  • Reduce successful phishing delivery.
  • Work at Internet scale.
  • Minimize complexity.
It is important to note that DMARC builds upon both the DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) and Sender Policy Framework (SPF) specifications that are currently being developed within the IETF. DMARC is designed to replace ADSP by adding support for:
  • wildcarding or subdomain policies,
  • non-existent subdomains,
  • slow rollout (e.g. percent experiments)
  • SPF
  • quarantining mail
Useful Terminology
                   Organizational Domain
An Organizational Domain is a top-level DNS domain plus one component (e.g., "example.com", where "com" is a top-level domain). This is also sometimes referred to as "second-level domain".

Anatomy of a DMARC resource record in the DNS

DMARC policies are published in the DNS as text (TXT) resource records (RR) and announce what an email receiver should do with non-aligned mail it receives.
Consider an example DMARC TXT RR for the domain "sender.dmarcdomain.com" that reads:
"v=DMARC1;p=reject;pct=100;rua=mailto:postmaster@dmarcdomain.com"
In this example, the sender requests that the receiver outright reject all non-aligned messages and send a report, in a specified aggregate format, about the rejections to a specified address. If the sender was testing its configuration, it could replace "reject" with "quarantine" which would tell the receiver they shouldn't necessarily reject the message, but consider quarantining it.
DMARC records follow the extensible "tag-value" syntax for DNS-based key records defined in DKIM.

How Senders Deploy DMARC in 5-Easy Steps

DMARC has been designed based on real-world experience by some of the world's largest email senders and receivers deploying SPF and DKIM. The specification takes into account the fact that it is nearly impossible for an organization to flip a switch to production. There are a number of built-in methods for "throttling" the DMARC processing so that all parties can ease into full deployment over time.
  1. Deploy DKIM & SPF. You have to cover the basics, first.
  2. Ensure that your mailers are correctly aligning the appropriate identifiers.
  3. Publish a DMARC record with the "monitor" flag set for the policies, asking for data reports.
  4. Analyze the data and modify your mail streams as appropriate.
  5. Modify your DMARC policy flags from "monitor" to "quarantine" to "reject" as you gain experience.

Ubuntu Phone vs Android - 5 reasons why Ubuntu Phone will never beat Android!

A couple of weeks ago, we were excited and exposed five reasons why Ubuntu Phone OS can beat Android. But then, were we so right? Nah, I don’t think so personally. We gave you 5 reasons why Ubuntu can be a grand success. It’s time to light the torches and look around for the potential pitfalls that can ruin Ubuntu Phone OS before curtains are furled.

1. Name is Game

Google logoNo offence sire, but you’d be a fool if you called Ubuntu a weak brand. Calling it weaker is a different issue however. When we speak about that green humanoid OS or the brittle furniture OS or the excessively egoistic OS that begins with an ‘i’, we are talking about big names – Google, Microsoft and Apple. Where does Ubuntu exactly stand against these? If your answer is nowhere then you and me, we think alike. Jokes apart, who wants an Ubuntu Phone? I can see a few hands, out of thousands. When Ubuntu calls out to developers, it would not be as loud as the roar of Google for sure. Google has been called the God of Internet and righteously so because everytime you forget your car keys, you silently wish for Google to help you!

2. Java – the not-so-nice but at least a cup of coffee!

Java logoWhen you mention Java, you are talking about masses. Languages like C# and Java bring a unique offering to the table – people who are lazy enough to not understand the details of the machine can program too! Well, that’d include many other languages as well but these two are the prominent ones. This feature (not having to deal with the details of machine) helps a larger number of people to write applications than C++. This results in more people learning Java and C# than C or C++.
Since Java is used to program apps for Android, it translates to a huge human resource pool available for building Android apps. For Ubuntu, C++, though a performance boosting platform, can prove disadvantageous! The only other OS that you'd be dealing with in something like C is iOS and that one has a cult following - not the case with Ubuntu. The HTML5 API however can boost the development because seemingly there are more HTML5 developers than there are C/C++ developers. However, chrome is now available in Android and it is only a matter of time before Android gets an HTML API as well! Result – Ubuntu does not have a solid advantage in long run.

3. Corporate Backup - because money matters

Android has got a lot of support from the corporate worldThe way Guy Kawasaki puts it - the most difficult thing about starting up is well, starting up. Ubuntu, no matter how technically strong will be a opening a new outlet in the market. There would be low number of apps for sure. Apps grow as number of users grows and users come to a platform where interesting apps are available; a kind of vicious circle for new entrants, you see! In recent times we have seen Microsoft investing millions to make way for Windows 8 mobile. The Windows 8 OS might be good for laptops and PCs but Microsoft’s mobile segment has still not been able to gain a challenging position in the market.
However, Microsoft has recently been upping their ante by creating competitions for students for creating Windows phone apps and so on. On the other hand, iOS and Android are going strong. Not only this, there are businesses standing on these platforms. There are companies, big and small building and selling Android and iOS apps for their clients. The people working in those companies have gained experience on their respective platforms and it will take quite a lot of effort and effect to move the mass towards Ubuntu phone. The demand-supply chain has given a lot of velocity to Android and works in its favour. To slow it down is not an easy task, we believe! Keeping all of that in the log book and reading it again makes one feel just one thing - Ubuntu’s position is not that promising.

4. A stupid developer preview

Nothing can possibly hurt like stupidity. After getting us excited for weeks, Ubuntu finally released its developer preview. And when that came out, what did it look like? Well, it looked like it was too early for an April-fool joke. Most of the date was demo data. Menus were static, the phone did not work like a real phone. No Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no headphone support. Was Ubuntu kidding? Well, it better would have been kidding if it wants to be anywhere within a visible radius of a winner’s outpost because if developers did not like what you called a developer preview, then you are short on apps for a long time and that time alone would be enough to kill the platform!
All videos across the internet promised a lot of benefits and apps and cool looks and services and blah blah. What came out was not really pleasant. That too, it came for only a handful of nexus devices. The way we see, Ubuntu did hit itself real hard with its own axe – just giving an outer shell without the peanut inside it? Add to that the fact that it was running an Android kernel (basically a CM) - not good for advertising the launch even! No, that is not how you release developer previews. Something’s gotta work in the preview. Naming it ‘pre-alpha’ would have been better. Android did not start this way, nor did Windows phone, nor did the iOS.

5. Desktop apps and transforming to a PC - not that noble, not that easy

Ubuntu phone as desktop​ It might be a publicity stunt or something but when you say that your mobile is going to run desktop apps, we believe you are short on a few things – like a keyboard to actually make those apps run and a screen big enough to make sense. Desktop apps can already run on mobiles, as long as the technology is concerned. And when you are porting those apps to mobile, you are just re-skinning them. Tell you what, for almost anything from taking notes to locating the pencil you lost in your childhood – apps have been built for Android. Ubuntu does not make huge additions. Those ported apps will have a new skin and that does not make them ‘desktop apps’ per se.
As long as mobile-as-a-PC is concerned, we are unsure of how that benefits except attaching a larger screen to the device. Yes, there are applications that can take advantages  and the mentioned desktop apps might just display in full glory on an external monitor but Ubuntu misses one important point – those apps cannot perform beyond a level. Mobile phones are not supercomputers, heck they don’t even rhyme! A PC or a laptop is what it is because it can deliver performance which a mobile phone cannot. Believing in the specifications does not change the fact that the power consumption and heat dissipation from a mobile are very limited. You have very limited resources and well, no one is going to buy a keyboard, a mouse and a monitor to work with their phone because no one buys them to use them with a laptop/tablet/netbook either. If they do, they will buy a PC soon enough.
In the end – how difficult would it be for Google to add that feature to a very stable codebase of Android? Really, how difficult could that be for a company with immense talent pool?
So what advantages have Ubuntu got? None. Can it beat Android? Well, since it does not give anything more than what Android does, the answer is a stern no!

How to change password without knowing old password

In this article I have given the tricks on how to change the password without knowing the existing one. This trick is mainly used for the people who forgot their admin password. The trick is also used to change other user’s password because it will allow you to change the password without knowing the old password. I hope everyone may use this trick for good purpose.
Step 1: Follow the below steps to view all user accounts.

  • StartàRunà Then type ‘CMD’.
  • In the command prompt window, type ‘cmd net users’.This will show you the user account on that computer including the hidden accounts. 

Step 2: Just follow the below steps to change the account password

  • Logged into the computer that has administrative rights. Then go to StartàRunàtype ‘CMD’.
  • In the command prompt window type ‘net user’ space ‘the name of the account’ then * and press enter. Example: net user administrator * or net user "TRICKS GOD" *. (Put the name in quotes if it contains spaces)
  • It asks you to enter the new password. Type the new password very carefully because command window won't display what you type. 
  • Reenter the same password once again to confirm it. 
  • Then you will get a success message. 
You’re done. Now you can access the user  accounts.
